One person was killed in a car accident in Scott County in Louisville, Kentucky Sunday, October 20. According to the police, a Hyundai was cruising along Scott County when it lost control and crossed over the median onto the northbound lanes of Interstate 65 near the 25 mile marker outside of Scottsburg, Indiana at around 5 p.m.
The Hyundai collided with a Ford pick-up truck trailer, causing it to catch on fire. Sixty-two-year-old Dennis Godsave, who was driving the truck at the time of the collision, perished as a result of the crash due to severe burns, while two of his passengers, Andrew Godsave and his 62-year-old grandmother, Sandra Godsave, barely escaped the burning vehicles.
The Hyundai’s driver, identified as 19-year-old Natalie Bomar, and Andrew Godsave’s grandmother were both taken to the University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
