Two motorcyclists were killed in separate accidents in Louisville in the early morning of May 2.
The first accident happened before midnight on Wednesday on the 2200 block of Industrial Boulevard when motorcyclist Philip C. Frey was hit head-on by a car driven by Genaro Herrera Hernandez, according to Louisville Metro Police spokeswoman, Carey Klain. Frey died at around 1 a.m. at University Hospital. A woman who was riding with Frey was also injured in the crash. As a result of this crash, Hernandez has been charged with multiple felony charges, including murder.
Another motorcyclist, identified as Victor L. Williams, was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle at around 2 a.m. on Triplett Drive, a spokesman for the police reported.
