Louisville police were led on a high speed chase last Monday by a local man after he refused to pull over for a seatbelt violation. The driver was a wanted fugitive, wanted on charges of cocaine possession, assault, and numerous traffic violations.
The man reached speeds of over 100 mph during the chase. According to WBKO, the chase only ended when the man ran a red light and slammed into a car with four people inside. He was arrested after he attempted to flee on foot.
One person in the struck vehicle is in serious condition when she was partially ejected out the windshield. The driver and two other passengers sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries.
