The Kentucky State Police apprehended an alleged drunk driver after he hit a pedestrian Friday night and then fled from the scene. The accident occurred in Mount Olivet near Crescent Hill Road and Kentucky 165.
The injured pedestrian is believed to have suffered a broken leg and was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Authorities found the driver at his father’s apartment later that night.
The man has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident, driving under the influence, assault, and driving without car insurance. He has been arraigned at the Bourbon County Detention Center.
