A car accident occurred in Louisville on Thursday that left one person dead and two people injured. The accident happened at approximately 9 a.m. at the intersection of Greenbelt Highway and Trade Port Drive.
According to reports, a 54-year-old woman driving a Taurus was attempting to turn left at the intersection when a man driving a Chevy Cobalt hit the Taurus. The woman was taken to the hospital, where she died of her injuries. The man driving the Chevy Cobalt and a male passenger were both injured in the crash and were also taken to the hospital.
A police officer was able to witness the accident, and other officers are speaking with him to find out the cause of the accident.
