Customers at a Jefferson Town Krispy Kreme ran, terrified, as an unidentified woman drove through the window of the local doughnut shop on Monday, September 30 at around 9:30 a.m.

Luckily, other than one man – John Heffley – who suffered minor cuts and scratches from glass and a door falling on him, no one was injured.

The vehicle shot through the window and witness Bob Cross, a former police officer, noticed his “partner was buried in glass and the door kind of coming down on him”.
